as many of you have probably seen on the new the past week, alabama was hit with some of the worst tornado's in history; while one hit not too far from my house in eclectic, a city very dear to my heart has been completely leveled by a horrific tornado, tuscaloosa alabama.

for my readers that aren't aware of the city of tuscaloosa, it is the hometown for the university of alabama. but as MOST of my readers know, i am a HUGE fan of the alabama team; ROLL TIDE! tuscaloosa was hit wednesday in the 5 o'clock hour and two of the largest streets have suffered unspeakable damage. 15th street and mcfarland boulevard have lost so many things but the restaurants and similar places can be rebuilt, however the lives that have been lost cannot be! alabama alone has suffered from over 250 deaths! and there are more than that still unaccounted for! one of the lives taken was a childhood friend of mine, loryn brown! i didn't know her like many people knew her, but i know the impact she had on people's lives. loryn, her roommate, and friend of theirs were killed in their tuscaloosa home wednesday during the storm. loryn was on the phone with her mom the entire time until the storm hit and the phone lost connection! funeral arrangements have been made for monday so be sure to lift this family, and many others, up in prayer! there is no doubt in my mind with the weather we have had the past few days that loryn is definitely in heaven with our almighty god today!

please remember to keep all of alabama in your prayers! these storms have hurt SO many in different ways and prayers are definitely needed over them all!
