holidays are approaching, and so is FAMILY! :)

hello everyone!!!! i hope everyone is gearing up for the holiday season! i know we are down here in florida! the apartment is halfway decorated for christmas! we have our garland hung, a gingerbread house, lights and stockings! we are just waiting on the tree to arrive from alabama! it's a happy time of year isn't it? :)

this past weekend i had the lovely chance to have a 5-day holiday vacation with my family! my aunt cindy, uncle joe, my cousin justin, and his friend marc came for a visit! it was nice to get away from CP life and just enjoy time with my family since i haven't been able to do that for almost two months now! it was my uncle's first visit to disney so of course i was a tour guide, but i didn't mind at all! here are just some pictures from the fun weekend!!!

i got my FIRST MICKEY BALLOON!!!! :)

now a really sad story about that mickey balloon. i got it saturday night in magic kingdom on the way out as a surprise! i was practically in love with it! it lasted through the night and then sunday morning we packed up the cars and went to downtown disney for some shopping so i just left the balloon in the car for a couple of hours thinking it would be fine. well i was WRONG! when we were getting ready to leave and i walked back to my car, the balloon had POPPED! it was really sad and i cried a little! but no worries, i was meeting my friend morgan up at studios later so i just got a new one!

next on the agenda, my mom and grandmother arrive in town friday! christmas party with the two of them friday night, thanksgiving dinner, and just spending some time before they head back to thanksgiving with my family! this may be the last time i see all of them before i go home for the end of my program! it's sad, but i have a wonderful disney family here with me!
