well hello there friends! :) sorry it has been over a month since i have updated! it's hard to do this when i am working soo much! things are just absolutely crazy during the summer! people keep saying things will calm down in september because not many people vacation during the school year!
let's recap on a few big things that have happened since my birthday update!
my aunt cindy came to visit the second week of july for her first visit to disney ever!!! :) we did all the parks and did some serious shopping! it was absolutely wonderful! we also got to share a first for the both of us, we got reservations to eat at 50's Prime Time Cafe in disney's hollywood studios! it wasn't the best i have had in disney but it was good southern cooking! but it was a wonderful time and i am so glad that i got to see her and spend time with her!
mindy and i love to try and have date nights! we have been doing pretty good with that! i think we have had one once a week now! it is just so happy to be able to hang out with here since we thought we weren't going to be able to spend much time together. one of our date nights included going to build-a-bear and making our best friend bears! they are absolutely wonderful! here just see for yourself! :)
that is ella on the left (mindy's bear) and then sweet pea on the right (which is mine of course) they are wonderful! :)
our latest date night turned into being one of the worst things we have ever done. well, that's not true, mindy and i are just very indecisive and we started out wanting to go swimming and the night turned into buying season passes to universal studios and going to play there for the night! it was totally worth it though because we have already paid for our pass practically because we have gone twice already!
mindy also celebrated her 20th birthday on july 27th! we got all dressed up and went out to dinner at the swan and dolphin resort on property. mindy really wanted sushi so that is what we had! i had sushi for the first time, it wasn't that bad after all! we also did some karaoke which was a lot of fun! i had a lot of fun getting to hang out with her and more of our friends!
my parents and my sister just left from their visit down! i was soo happy i got to see them! i have missed them so much and it was fun getting to introduce them to all my friends and showing them around disney the way i have been trained now! i had a blast with them! i also had some good eating ;) lol.
disney has been my whole summer so far and it has been absolutely amazing! however, summer is drawing to an end and now it's time to start with the fall and i can't wait to see what the next few months hold for me here. i have been truly blessed with amazing friends down here who i know will always be part of my life now! thank you all soo much for a wonderful summer!
