so the announcement has been made! :)

today on the way to school i had like this disney kick and just wanted to pack my bags and go so i tweeted "i wish i was in disney". i had a class this morning at 9am, it was my final for communication and i think i did pretty good on that. afterward, nick and i went to the computer lab and we were playing on the computer and my phone went off saying i had an email. so i checked it just thinking it was facebook, and to my surprise i found SOOO much more.

in the email, was the following:
"Dear Allison,

Congratulations! You have been selected to participate as an Attractions Cast Member on the Disney College Program in the Fall Advantage 2010 Season"

ahhhhhhhhhhhh! yayyyyyyy! :) the excitement still has not left me yet. this is a chance of a lifetime and i know that god is telling me that this is what i need to do because everything just feels so right. this has been one of the best weeks of my life so to receive that email this morning. so many phone calls were made today on celebrating the excitement! i am very excited that i am getting this chance in my life to make amazing new friendships and work for a company i have a grown up around! this is really the chance of a lifetime and i can't wait for the excitement to begin.

i got to pick the day i wanted to move down there. and i kept in mind that i have three very important people graduating this year so i am waiting until june 7th to move down. and then from there i will be there for my 20th birthday (ps, this will be two years in a row i celebrated my birthday in disney!), july 4th, halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, and new years. i will return back to alabama on january 3rd. that is, if god doesn't tell me that this is where i need to spend the rest of my life. but whatever happens i am just excited about this experience. my role in disney is attractions which i am sooo happy about. i am finally getting to take a break from retail life! and i am a roller coaster fanatic when we are down there. i really hope that i get a ride that i get to talk on. maybe the jungle cruise, or the great movie ride. or hey, the tower of terror has an awesome costume, and expedition everest, OH don't even get me started on that ride! LOVE IT!

i know families and friends have all started to make arrangements so far which is pretty exciting. there are some things about discounts i can't share over the internet but if you are interested in finding out how i can help your family have vacation you have always dreamed of, just let me know! and i know i will be there when my aunt and uncle go down on there annual trip (they are just like us) so i am excited i get to see them and the kids. i haven't seen them in SOO long. there are just so many things that i am looking forward to!

so now i must start saving for this huge excitement that is to come! WOOOOOO! :) be watching for updates because they will be coming! i promise! i will try and update once a week, how does that sound?
