there was a girl named allison. :) okay so i am not going to write like that for real, it was just a good title for the first post! but let's get down to it! my name is allison and i am a student at aum studying elementary education. recently i applied for the disney college program and i am waiting on a phone interview to happen before i find out if i was accepted or not. but if i am accepted this is where all of yall will be able to keep up with me and what's going on with me and disney!
as many of yall may know disney is nothing to me or my family! i have been disney every year since i was 8 years old! i have sometimes gone two times in a year once or twice! i have stayed in the contemporary resort, the grand floridian, the wildreness lodge, animal kingdom lodge, and the coronado springs resort. it never gets old for my family and i. we have the time of our lives escaping the reality of softball, school and work and get caught up in our childhood all over again. i have been to disney world a total of 13 times and still counting. :) we can get around every park without a map, we know what we want to ride first, we know where we want to eat, but at the same time disney always surprises us with something new. that's part of their wonderful magic!
i have applied for the program once before and was accepted, however i turned it down because i just felt like it wasn't the right time. i had a lot going on with living a new place and having to adjust to where i was and decided that i wouldn't do the program. when i transferred to aum i saw the signs for the program again and all the emotions came back but i just kept ignoring them because i figured that's not where i needed to be. but the more and more i think about it, i am crazy if i pass up an opportunity like this. this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that not everyone gets and if i have the chance, i should do it. so i have applied again, set up my phone interview (which is tomorrow morning), and then it's all about the waiting to find out from there.

* i will leave august and be there for halloween, thanksgiving, christmas day and new years. i am supposed to be back early january.
* i will at Vista Way apartments which is owned by disney. and i don't have to bring sally, BUT I AM! they have transportation available through disney that takes you to work so i won't be driving her much unless i want to go to universal or sea world or something!
* i applied for photopass photographer, attractions, character attendant, and transportation but i will mention that i would do merchandising if i had to but i would much rather be with the kids and out with all the excitment!
all of this is just soo exciting. just imagine, on your off days from work you are hanging out with new friends at water parks and disney parks riding roller coasters and all kinds of stuff like that! sounds amazing! ahhh, i just can barely stand to wait! if i could leave now, i would! but i guess i am going to leave yall for a few. i am going to post a blog so that yall can just enjoy some previous pictures from past disney family vacations!
